I bought a puppy. Never really thought I'd do that. I actually don't really like dogs.. or at least not owning them. I work in a pet store and the last thing I need is to pick shit up at work then come home and do it all over again. :slow: But here I am with an 11 week old pup.

Anyway her name is Bailey (not after the alcohol :|) and I do adore her. She's a little tri colored corgi. We've had her two weeks and she is potty trained, comes when you call, sits, drops it, stays, and understands 'no bite', 'bad girl', 'give mama kisses', and 'Bailey be good girl'. :S Smartass dog.

So why did we buy her you ask? She came into the store perfectly healthy, but with in just a few days she became overwhelmed. She stopped eating and became hypoglycemic. We tried everything and she ate a little, but it wasn't enough. I came in to work one night and she was doing ok and a couple hours later she was laying in her kennel looking on the verge of death. A manager and I gave her two shots of fluids and mashed up some wet dog food and force fed her. I took her home that night and kept her for the weekend. I had to force feed her for two days before she started eating on her own again. (By that time she was already learning to go potty outside.) After that.. Matt and I just couldn't give her back.



Oh yeah... fuck you Oprah. =]
